Compatible with OPENSTACK
CLOVER is composed of a connection broker acting as an intermediary, allowing a user to remotely connect to their virtual desktop or virtual applications hosted in a datacenter. This broker includes security, authentication, session, and device management systems.
CLOVER interacts with various hypervisor managers like vCenter, Openstack, and Proxmox, allowing virtual PCs to be created and run on different hypervisors such as ESXI, KVM, Hyper-V, and XEN. VDI users can access their desktops using display and remote access protocols commonly used in enterprise environments (such as RDP, NoMachine, VNC...).
A suitable and optimized solution for hyper-converged and Software-Defined Data Center architectures, CLOVER allows IT administrators to control and manage a variety of operating systems and multiple virtual desktops through a single, simple interface.
CLOVER integrates virtualization and cloud libraries and orchestrators such as Libvirt, Proxmox, Openstack, and vCenter. This enables support and interfacing with major virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, KVM, AHV Acropolis, and VMWare Esxi.
CLOVER has been well developed to support hyper-convergence solutions that tightly integrate compute, storage, and network in a virtualized mode. CLOVER is fully integrated with Dell EMC VxRail hardware infrastructure and VMware vCenter and vSAN software, offering a complete solution for Software-Defined Data Centers.
CLOVER is also compatible with Nutanix hyper-convergence solutions and includes a connector for Acropolis OpenStack Driver:
